What a difference two weeks makes, the snow is all gone and whilst the weather isn't quite tropical it was nice enough for a visit to Birdland in Desford, Leicestershire.  Whilst most of the birds were behind mesh in aviaries, there are quite a number of tropical birds flying free which make for an interesting  and different subject to photograph.

I've posted a couple of pictures this time both showing James releasing energy in the field.  After spending a week stuck in the stable due to the snow and ice we put James out Saturday and managed to capture the first image as he cavorted around.  The second shot is from the next day, still a bit fresh James had a roll in his new rug and as he got up bucked.  I managed to capture the moment he had all four feet of the ground - Boing.
