This months picture came about from playing with an image in Lightroom. What started out as a straightforward shot of a horses head looks more striking to me, just by removing any distracting background and allowing the focus to be drawn to the eye.
The horse in this picture (Hero) has been quite poorly recently but thankfully it looks like he's on the mend.
